History
This is a 47 year old man who presents with a scaly nodule on the shoulder.
Microscopic Findings
Sections show a dermal cyst with numerous papillary projections and a pronounced keratotic plug. The lesion is circumscribed and demarcated from the surrounding dermis. | ||||

Multiple acantholytic cells cells with corp ronds and other cells approaching corp grains are present. | ||||

Acantholysis is also suprabasilar with the keratinocytes showing no significant cytologic atypia. | ||||
